Joyce Petrella

Joyce Petrella is a seasoned consultant and executive coach with more than 25 years of corporate experience across financial services, healthcare, insurance, technology, and aerospace. Her expertise spans business and talent strategy development, leadership effectiveness, executive coaching, learning and development strategy, and change management. Joyce has held senior leadership roles including Head of Executive Education and Development at Aetna, AVP of Organizational Effectiveness and Executive Development at Hartford Life and Wealth Management, and VP of Human Resources and Talent Management at BTS.

Joyce holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and English from Trinity College and a master’s degree in Linguistics from Harvard University. She is certified in IOD and DDI facilitation, Korn Ferry Lominger assessments, and Hogan assessments. As the Managing Director and Founder of Calculus of Talent, she leads a global talent management consultancy focused on aligning leadership and strategy. Throughout her career, Joyce has actively championed the advancement of women in STEM through university board service and career development initiatives.
